How to succeed in an interview by sweat resistance
Dear Reader,
I’m so glad that I am sharing this secret with you. The fact of the matter is it’s something I've been ashamed of for a LONG TIME.
Ok, here it is:
I SWEAT LIKE A PIG WHEN I’M NERVOUS.
I’m talking full-body sweat, not just sweat glands underneath your armpits.
I’m not sure when it started; it must be a genetic thing. I remember one of the first things my first boss said to me was:
“You’re well presented and handsome; it’s too bad you sweat so much. I know someone that was just like you.”
I hadn’t worked out or done any physical exercise. It was just a little warm from my memory. That comment was made at least ten years ago, and it stuck with me as I remember thinking
I MUST HAVE A PROBLEM!
I look back at some of those moments, and I swear it was like a negative snowball effect that impacted my experience there.
I had since left that job, and unfortunately I do not look back at that as a good work-life experience.
Fast forward over 10 years, to 2025, and I have an interview for a senior position. I look at some of those memories and my sweaty past.
BUT ONE THING CAME TO MIND.
It’s 2025 now, and I have a large DULO white shirt in my drawer. No ironing required. I just put it on, and I'm good to go.
The interview was at 2pm in the Australian hot summer. The worst possible time for sweat. Although I was feeling a sense of gratitude and asylum.
I FELT CONFIDENT.
Not only did I do the research for my interview, but I also had an awesome shirt THAT WAS SWEAT RESISTANT.
DULO. Shirts are made up of SILVER IONS. This is an innovative invention that brings antibacterial properties to the performance shirts. This prevents the stench that comes from your body. When I tested it out at the interview, the results were amazing.
THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF SWEAT & ODOUR.
And thus, I freely spoke at my interview without any filter. At this stage I'm the preferred candidate, but let's keep our fingers crossed. I felt so confident in these shirts that I went into a flow state.
Thank you, DULO.
Will update you all soon!
Take care!
